Jameson Rodgers sa dannatamente bene di essere dannatamente fortunato. Jameson Rodgers knows damn well he’s damn lucky. A 33-year-old singer-songwriter who still calls himself “just a kid from Batesville, Mississippi,” Rodgers spent more than a decade in Nashville before taking the plunge with “Some Girls”, a debut single that jumped to No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart and No. 29 on the Gold-certified Billboard Hot 100.
Despite this, Rodgers still seems incredulous that he’s not just a songwriter but an official, certified country star.In fact, his story is not the common one among most country music artists even though we’ve heard it before for other acts. Rodgers loved playing baseball and wanted to pursue a career in the sport, playing it until his junior year of college.
L’AMICIZIA CON LUKE COMBS

LUKE COMBS’ FRIENDSHIPS
Rodgers loved playing baseball and wanted to pursue a career in the sport, playing it until his junior year of college. Once he realized that his baseball career wasn’t really taking off the way he thought it would, he picked up a guitar. And the rest is history.
Still pretty shy, he was the type to sing along to songs passed on the radio, play tunes around the campfire and take requests from friends, until in 2010 he convinced his roommate to move to Nashville.
Six years later he noticed messages on Instagram from a guy named Luke Combs when he wasn’t Luke Combs yet. It’s likely that Luke’s wife (then girlfriend) got him to listen to some of his material and from there, writing songs together, becoming friends and sharing the stage during Luke Combs’ “Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour” in 2019 was a natural consequence.
SOME GIRLS

The singer wasn’t planning on bringing Luke Combs on board, but the close friendship, the hitting a tour together, and their shared passion for beer made him decide otherwise.
